___
The original Omen movie series

The Omen series began in 1976 with the release of the Richard Donner-directed horror movie, The Omen. The film introduced Damien Thorn, a child born of Satan who bears the number 666 – the mark of the Beast.
Upon release, The Omen was a hit with critics and audiences and led to a sequel in 1978, Damien: Omen II. The movie continued Damien’s story and was followed in 1981 by Omen III: The Final Conflict.
The third Omen movie was conceived as a conclusion to the story, and did bring Damien’s tale to an end on the big screen, but it wasn’t the last entry in the series. In 1991, a fourth entry arrived via the TV movie, Omen IV: The Awakening, which focused on Damien’s daughter.
If you wish to watch all of the films in the original Omen movie series then follow this list:

The Omen remake

Fifteen years after Omen IV: The Awakening arrived on television, 20th Century Fox made the decision to remake The Omen, to update the story with a new cast. The film starred Liev Schreiber, Julia Stiles and David Thewlis and was released on June 6th 2006 to take advantage of the date 06.06.06 (a reference to Damien).
Thanks to clever marketing, The Omen remake was a financial success, but the film received a lukewarm response from critics. As such, the movie was not followed by a sequel.
