Afternoon folks,

A new week has begun and there is light at the end of the tunnel. When it comes to the virus, the signs suggest things are continuing to move in the right direction and in next-to-no time we will all be enjoying a few less restrictions.

But for now, we must all stay inside and that means we you probably need something to keep you busy for a little while longer. Hmm… sounds like you need ‘Something to read when you’re bored’!

This latest edition of ‘Something to read…’ is jam-packed full of lovely things to keep you busy. Dare you take a peek?

Oh, go on – indulge!

Today I’ve got posts about Spider-Man, Cube, Batman, Bohemian Rhapsody, and much more. But first, here’s some news…

If you are a fan of RuPaul’s Drag Race you may not be aware that a new four-part celebrity special is currently airing in the US. If you’re UK-based (like me) you can watch the first two episodes of RuPaul’s Secret Celebrity Drag Race on Netflix.

Have you ever wondered how many Cube films there are? Be honest now. You have, haven’t you?

Thought so.

Over the weekend on I’ll Get Drive-Thru, I have continued to talk about Batman. If you are not keeping tabs on this informative little outlet, then you are missing out on posts such as: Where to begin with Batman?

This pretty exhaustive post serves up a guide to getting into the Batman mythology. The post includes discusses all the best movies, TV shows and comics associated with the Dark Knight.

Death becomes him?

Sticking with the theme of Batman, I have also recently covered a comic book classic in the shape of: What is The Many Deaths of the Batman? If you want to know what that’s all about, click on the link and give it a read.

What am I listening to?

What am I listening to? More like, what am I not listening to?!

I’m all about ’90s music right now and that means today’s background noise is a stone cold ’90s classic. Press play and dance like you’ve never danced before.

I guarantee this song will be stuck in your head all day. And I’m not sorry.

Something about power?

What is Spider-Man’s mantra? Do you know? Are you 100% sure that you know? Could it be slightly different, depending on which version of Spidey you subscribe to? Sick of all these questions?!?

Me too.

Click on the link and see if you know what you think you know… you know?

Today, courtesy of Don’t Tell Harry, I am giving you the opportunity to learn all about the Japanese Spider-Man show from the 1970s. Grasp this opportunity with both hands and NEVER LET IT GO!

The post is: What is the Japanese Spider-Man movie and show? Can you afford not to read this post?

Review for you

I have dug deep into the It’s A Stampede! archives to find two reviews for you. The first was originally posted way back in November 2018 and it is a review for Bohemian Rhapsody.

Review for you too

The second review for you, plucked from the archives is from December 2019. This one is for Creed II. If you have not watched the movie, give the review a read.

Black Widow

And finally, as the Marvel/Disney movie, Black Widow was originally supposed to be in cinemas this month, I am helping to cushion the blow with a list of Black Widow MCU movie appearances.

You have until November (when the film will finally get a release) to swot up on Black Widow, but why wait until then?! Check out the list and see if you are familiar with all her movie appearances.

That’s all for today! Have fun, stay safe, and let’s look ahead to all the good times that are just around the corner.
