Hey hey, it’s Sunday!

This is the 21st edition of ‘Something to read when you’re bored’. By my calculations that means I have been publishing these newsletter-style posts for three-weeks.

I hope they continue to find you well, and give you something to occupy your brain. If they do, then they are doing their job.

OK, let’s move on to some news…

News

Disney has announced a change to its movie schedule for 2020. Big releases such as Mulan, Black Widow and Jungle Cruise are being given new release windows, with Mulan hitting screens in July, Black Widow in November and Jungle Cruise now appearing in July 2021.

Perhaps most significant is the release of Artemis Fowl, which will no longer been screened in cinemas. The studio has made the decision to move the film directly to Disney+, making its debut sometime this summer.

No word on when it will appear, but if you’re a Disney+ subscriber then expect to hear more about its release in the not-too distant future.

Sticking with the Disney theme for a moment, back in July 2019 I published a post called: The Disney Animated Classics that haven’t been remade (yet). The post looked at all of the animated Disney movies that have not been give the remake treatment.

If you want to take a look at the post, click on the link. It will fill you in on all the well-known Disney pictures that could be remade in the coming years.

Towards the end of the 1990s, TriStar Pictures released the horror movie, Urban Legend. The film was a success for the studio and led to sequels. But how many?

In the post ‘How many Urban Legend films are there?’, I answer this very question. So, if you want to know the number, click on the link.

What am I listening to?

Today’s music of choice is…

‘You Can Call Me Al’, by Paul Simon.

And that’s Sunday!

Have a great day, folks and be helpful when/where you can.

Tomorrow I’m handing ‘Something to read when you’re bored’ over to the subject of Batman. So if you like the Caped Crusader, then be sure to check it out as I’ll be going Bat-crazy!
