Happy Saturday, folks,

It is the weekend, and while I understand this is yet another odd one, let’s try to make the best of this rather unfortunate situation.

Below is the latest edition of ‘Something to read when you’re bored’ and once again it is jam-packed with stuff to keep you entertained for ten minutes (or more). I hope it continues to find you well and that it provides you with a distraction.

Let’s start with a fun bit of news, which is sure to raise a smile!

Good news – There is now an official Robin Williams channel on YouTube! The channel is fairly new, but already has a small selection of videos for everyone to view.

Without a doubt, Robin Williams was one of the funniest people on the planet, so if you are regular YouTube user, this might be a channel to subscribe to. Plus, who doesn’t like laughing?

Saturday night at the movies

With it being Saturday, chances are you are looking for movie suggestions for tonight’s entertainment. I could recommend you many, many titles… but how about we start with 37?

In December 2018, I published a post called: Thirty-Seven movies of 2018… that are worth a watch. Now might be the perfect time for you to take a look at this post for inspiration.

The gateway

If you are a comic book fan, what comic book was your gateway into the medium? I ask this question, because a little while back I published a post about my gateway comic.

Marvel Superheroes Summer Fun kick-started my comic collection, is a post which looks at the moment I fell in love with comics. Take a look at what I had to say, then let me know what got YOU into comics.

Rosemary’s Baby

And while I am on the subject of first times, let me point you in the direction of a post I published back in 2018 called: The first time I watched Rosemary’s Baby. This post rewinds to a time when I was first connecting with the horror genre – a film genre I grew to love – and talks about the movie and why I like it so.

What am I listening to today?

Today I am all about ‘Shiny Happy People‘… and I think you should be about that too.

Batman in Bethlehem

Over on I’ll Get Drive-Thru I continue to talk about Batman. Earlier this week I discussed a classic tale from the Caped Crusader called Batman in Bethlehem. Click on the link to read all about it.

Have you ever wondered how many Casper movies there are?

If this is a question which keeps you up at night, then take a look at the post… er… How many Casper films are there?

And finally, a little blast from the past for you. How well do you remember the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon from the ’00s?

Fancy a re-fresh?

Then check out the post: The 2003 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon was awesome. The post offers a run-through of the series, highlighting the key points you may wish to know.

That’s all for today!

Have a great Saturday, and remember to laugh a lot and enjoy the small things.
