Morning, guys.
As I am sure you are aware, things have developed in the UK and that means the current situation has got even tougher. Let me take this opportunity to say that it is difficult, but we are all in the same boat, so continue to help out where you can – whether that is through a phone call, being more mindful with shopping habits, or just making someone smile, everything helps.
Now let’s crack on with the latest edition of ‘Something to read when you’re bored’.

News
Some good news – if you missed this one in cinemas, or you simply want to watch it again, Sonic the Hedgehog will be speeding its way to digital stores very soon. The movie will be available to download in the US from March 31st and in the UK from April 27th.

More news

Some more good news: Comixology UK has increased its collection of FREE comics to around 700 titles. Yep, 700!
The freebies include The Walking Dead #1, The Umbrella Academy #0, a number of Batman: Black & White stories and many more.
I don’t know how long this offering will last – usually Comixology offer around 100 comics for free, not 700 – so make the most of it.

I set up the Sega MegaDrive so that we could play a couple of two-player games: Dr. Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine and Mortal Kombat. I am pleased to say I did very well on Mortal Kombat… but sadly not so well on Mean Bean Machine.

What’s on my plate?
You KEEP asking to see what is on my plate, so I KEEP on letting you into my kitchen. You are so lucky.
So… last night’s tea was spaghetti carbonara.

I would like to say that I made everything from scratch, but that would be a lie.
We had some spaghetti in the back of the cupboard, some bacon in the fridge that needed using up, and a jar of white/lasagne sauce that was knocking around. I put all this together with some salt, pepper, mixed herbs, and a sprinkling of grated cheese.

Hello Dark Phoenix my old friend

And finally, in June I published a post called: Six reasons why Dark Phoenix is struggling. The post looks at the reasons why I believe the film struggled at the box office.
