A short while back, news broke that Netflix had commissioned a new He-Man animated show, called Masters of the Universe: Revelation. The show is a continuation of the original series, and will explore the further adventures of He-Man, Skeletor, Man-At-Arms and many other classic Eternians.

The anime series is being developed by Kevin Smith for Mattel Television and Netflix. It is expected to arrive on the streaming service in 2021.

But that’s old news, so what’s the new news?

Speaking in a post, Smith said: “We have cast some true masters of their craft for our @masters cartoon that’s coming to @netflix, including 2 Batmans, a Buffy, and a Joker!”
