Is The Gifted part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe?

The Gifted is not part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Gifted is instead part of FOX’s X-Men Cinematic Universe, albeit set in one of the many alternate timelines from the movies.

How many seasons of The Gifted are there?

To date there are two seasons of The Gifted.

How many episodes of The Gifted are there?

Season One of The Gifted comprises 13 episodes. Season Two of The Gifted comprises 16 episodes.

What mutants appear in The Gifted?

The main mutants appearing in The Gifted are:

  • Blink
  • Polaris
  • Eclipse
  • Thunderbird
  • Andy & Lauren Strucker (Fenris II)
  • The Stepford Cuckoos
  • Evangeline Whedon
  • The Morlocks

Who is Lorna’s father / who is Polaris’s father in The Gifted?

Although he is not directly mentioned by name, Lorna’s father is Magneto.

Do Magneto and Professor Xavier appear in The Gifted?

No – neither Magneto nor Professor Xavier appear in The Gifted.

Do the X-Men appear in The Gifted?

No. The X-Men and the Brotherhood of Mutants are regularly referenced in the show, but they do not appear in The Gifted.

Who are the villains of The Gifted?

Villains appearing in The Gifted include:

  • Roderick Campbell
  • Sentinel Services
  • The Inner Circle
  • The Purifiers

Do the Sentinels appear in The Gifted?

No. Sentinel Services – an offshoot of the Sentinels – appear in The Gifted and there are multiple references to Trask Industries, the creators of the Sentinels, but the mutant-hunting robots themselves do not appear in the show.

Is Roderick Campbell, Ahab in The Gifted?

In the comics, Roderick Campbell is the super villain known as Ahab. In The Gifted, Campbell is killed off in Season One and so never becomes Ahab.

Is Legion connected to The Gifted?

As with The Gifted, Legion is an X-Men spin-off show, said to take place in one of the alternate timelines which exists in FOX’s X-Men Cinematic Universe. To date, The Gifted and Legion do not connect to each other.

Does Wolverine appear in The Gifted?

No, Wolverine does not appear in The Gifted and he has never been mentioned.

Does Deadpool appear in The Gifted?

No, Deadpool does not appear in The Gifted. He has also not been mentioned in the show.
