I’ve spoken before of how I’m collecting Masters of the Universe Pint Size Heroes, yet I’ve not thrown the spotlight on this neat little toy line.

Until now.

If you’re not familiar with them, Pint Size Heroes are a collection of figures/collectables produced by Funko and designed around a theme (Disney, Marvel, DC etc). This particular series takes its inspiration from ’80s classic, Masters of the Universe and features a wealth of iconic characters.

Adorable, right?

And they’re tiny!

The figures are around a couple of inches in height, so are much more ‘space friendly’ than many of Funko’s other lines. Plus, because they’re so small they’re darn cute too and kind of irresistible.

But don’t let the cute factor fool you, they’re pretty detailed toys. Check out Mer-Man’s chest plate (above) or Moss Man’s flocked fur (below). That’s a lot of detail for a toy that takes up a very small area.

There are 12 figures in the collection: He-Man, Skeletor, Mer-Man, Beast Man, Teela, Man-at-Arms, Orko, Moss Man, The Sorceress, Battle Cat, Panthor and Trap Jaw. To date, I have all 12 – hurrah!

A further three figures are available as ‘exclusives’ and these include: Evil-Lyn, Stratos and Faker. To date, I have none of these – boo.

The exclusives are harder to come by and tend to fetch a pretty penny on the secondary market. For this reason, it may take me a while to complete the collection.

Masters of the Universe Pint Size Heroes are available online and in store at many collectable/comic shops. The figures are blind bagged and range in price from £3.99-£4.99 (depending on where you shop).
