Long-running animated show, The Simpsons has been renewed for two more years, pushing the show into a 32nd season.
A message via the official Simpsons Facebook page, said: “Mmmm…. more Simpsons. Your favourite family will be back for Seasons 31 AND 32!”
With the renewal, The Simpsons will not only survive the jump from Fox to Disney, but will also see the show pass the 700 episode mark. That’s pretty impressive going.
Personally, I’ve not watched a new episode of The Simpsons in a long time, but for fans of the show this is good news. Now if only a deal could have been made with FOX (prior to the Disney acquisition) to get classic episodes of The Simpsons on Netflix, that would been something truly awesome.
Anyway, congratulations to The Simpsons.

The dysfunctional family that never ages, yet somehow survives.
*** Nah, I don’t watch it.

Agreed! Likewise, I haven’t watched new episodes of the Simpsons in years and it hasn’t measured up to it’s earlier classic seasons for a long time – but, good news for those who still watch it!

Yeah, that’s the thing, we’re long past the point of the ‘classic’ years and now there are far more ‘non-classic’ episodes than there are classics, so if people are watching and are enjoying it then so be it.
