60 Days of Halloween continued this evening with a devilish duo – a viewing of Hocus Pocus (1993) AND a spot of pumpkin carving!

Watching Hocus Pocus has become somewhat of an annual tradition, as it is THE PERFECT movie for Halloween. Over the last few years, I’ve also combined Hocus Pocus with pumpkin carving because it is THE PERFECT thing to do around Halloween.

Yeah, I know it’s a little early for pumpkin carving, but we always do it early in our house.

Here are tonight’s results of the carving session…

On the left is my pumpkin, which is inspired by the Jack O’Lantern from the intro to Halloween (1978). On the right is my husband’s pumpkin inspired by the game, Dark Souls.

We now have lots of pumpkin innards all over the floor. Guess it’s now time to get the vacuum cleaner out.

No update tomorrow, but that’s because I’ve got a busy weekend of John Carpenter-related goodness. I’ll provide an update on Sunday…
