60 Days of Halloween continued this morning with The Curious Creations of Christine McConnell – a wickedly bizarre show which recently landed on Netflix. The series is a horror-themed home crafts show, with puppets!

No, seriously.

The Curious Creations of Christine McConnell is effectively a Nigella Lawson or Kirsty Allsopp-style show, via the Muppets Avenue Q. You’ll tune in for the handmade crafts, but you’ll stay for the puppets, specifically Rankle, the sassy mummified cat.

If you’ve not watched an episode of The Curious Creations of Christine McConnell then give it a whirl. There are six episodes in total, with each running around the 20-25 minute mark.

I’ve watched two episodes so far and I plan to watch the remaining four tonight, while I get to work on my Halloween costume. I’m hoping the crafting element of the show will motivate me to get the sewing kit out and get this costume sorted.
