John Carpenter and Sacred Bones Records have released the first track from the new Halloween (2018) movie soundtrack album.
The track – titled The Shape Returns – is a reworking of the classic Halloween theme that has become synonymous with the series. The track was composed by John Carpenter, Cody Carpenter and Daniel Davies.
Turn the lights down low and turn up the volume….
…The Shape returns.

Me too. I’m in two minds over whether to rewatch Halloween this weekend or wait until nearer the release of the new one. The original is getting a limited re-release at the cinema, so I may go see it on the big screen.

If you have the opportunity to see it on the big screen, don’t pass it up! I’ve done it, and it was a really unique experience.
