Every year, at some point during my Halloween marathon, I like to pick out a few ‘Halloween specials’ – i.e. TV shows/comics that aren’t scary or connected to the horror genre in any way, but are instead related to the Halloween theme. And this brings me onto today’s Halloween choice which doesn’t contain any monsters or ghouls, but instead involves a story set on Halloween.
For this morning’s entry in 60 Days of Halloween I opted to read the Marvel comic, The Amazing Spider-Man: The Short Halloween (2009). The comic is a comedic tale about a case of mistaken identity between Spider-Man and a (drunk) guy wearing a Spidey Halloween costume.
Written by Bill Hader and Seth Myers, The Short Halloween features art by Kevin Maguire.
