Onto day 7 of 60 Days of Halloween and because it’s Saturday, this morning I opted for a vampire-themed double-bill which included an episode of cartoon classic, Count Duckula and a viewing of the Gothic horror, Bram Stoker’s Dracula (1992).

For my thoughts on Bram Stoker’s Dracula I will point you in the direction of today’s instalment of 90 from the ’90s, which serves up a blow-by-blow account of the movie. In short, I thought it wasn’t bad – it looked good even if it is bizarre at times.

I followed up Bram Stoker’s Dracula with a 1990 episode of Count Duckula, titled: The Return of the Curse of the Secret of the Mummy’s Tomb Meets Frankenduckula’s Monster and the Wolf-Man and the Intergalactic Cabbage…

As a kid, I used to watch Count Duckula A LOT, but I don’t recall this episode, so it made for great viewing this morning. It also acted as the perfect palate cleanser after watching Bram Stoker’s Dracula.

Should you want to watch The Return of the Curse of the Secret of the Mummy’s Tomb Meets Frankenduckula’s Monster and the Wolf-Man and the Intergalactic Cabbage…, then you can check the episode out in full on YouTube.

60 Days of Halloween continues tomorrow…
