Remember earlier in the week, when Marvel teased an X-Men announcement?

Well, this is it…

Marvel has a bunch of new X-Men books out this autumn, including X-Men: Black, a Shatterstar solo comic and the return of Uncanny X-Men.

X-Men: Black

  • X-Men: Black will be a five-issue run taking place in October. The series will comprise five one-shots, each focusing on different villains, including Magneto, Mystique, Juggernaut, Emma Frost and Mojo.
  • J. Scott Campbell will be providing the covers for X-Men: Black, with each book having its own different creative team. Chris Claremont will be writing the Magneto issue.

  • Shatterstar will be from the creative team of Tim Seeley, Carlos Villa, and Gerardo Sandoval. The book hits shelves in October.

Uncanny X-Men

  • Pretty much no details have been released about this one, other than the fact that it’s happening.

So, there you go. Great stuff if you’re after more X-Men books, but perhaps not the big announcement that some were expecting.
