Ant-Man and the Wasp – the latest entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe – hits cinema screens in just a couple of weeks. Although if you live in the UK, we’ve got to wait until early August before we get to see it (DAMN IT!).

Either way, with the movie due out very soon, Marvel Studios has already screened the film for a select few. And those select few have taken to social media to air their thoughts.

Want to know what they’re saying?

OF COURSE YOU DO!

Here’s what’s being said about Ant-Man and the Wasp:

  • Brandon Davis of Comic Book.com, said: “Ant-Man and the Wasp is strong on the humour, amazing on the visual effects, creative in size manipulation and, clever in its ‘villains’. Great movie.”
  • Eric Eisenberg of CinemaBlend, said: “Ant-Man and the Wasp is crazy fun. Very self- contained, but brimming with energy, and full of cool and creative surprises. Super funny, and the entire cast is wonderful. I had a blast!”
  • Mike Ryan of Uproxx, said: “Ant-Man and the Wasp is for sure an upgrade from the first film (I didn’t love the first Ant-Man). Lilly’s Wasp has at least the same, or probably more, action scenes than Rudd’s Ant-Man. Also: Michael Peña has a scene halfway through that brings the house down.”
  • Online movie critic, John Campea of said: “Ant-Man: A bit more charm than the first and more character work. Everyone seemed to love it. I liked it, but not as much as the first. Peña is awesome again. Must stay for post credits!”
  • And finally and rather cryptically, Kylie Erica Mar of Yahoo Entertainment, said: “Ant-Man and the Wasp is cool and all, but the end credit scene is the best part of the whole film and the only thing I can think about right now.”

Incidentally, Ant-Man and the Wasp is said to have TWO end credit scenes. Presumably, one of these ties into the events of Infinity War.

Anyway, the early reactions seem pretty damn impressive. Did you expect anything less?

Ant-Man and the Wasp opens on July 6th in the US and August 3rd in the UK.
