Last week, news broke that Warner Bros. Pictures/New Line Cinema were moving forward with another entry in the ever-expanding The Conjuring series. Thing was, it was a little unclear on what that entry would be – until now.
The next movie in The Conjuring series will be a third Annabelle film. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the movie will be written and directed by Gary Dauberman.
Dauberman has plenty of experience with the franchise, having previously written Annabelle (2014), Annabelle: Creation (2017) and the forthcoming The Nun (2018). This next Annabelle-centric movie will mark Dauberman’s directorial debut.
The Conjuring series kick-started in 2013 and to date includes five movies: The Conjuring (2013), Annabelle (2014), The Conjuring 2 (2016), Annabelle: Creation (2017) and The Nun (2018). The series has so far taken more than $1.2 billion at the worldwide box office and with plans for yet more movies over the coming years, this figure will only increase.
The as-yet-untitled Annabelle 3 will hit cinema screens on July 3rd 2019.

Annabelle 2 is great – much better than the first. Check it out if you get chance.
