Paramount Pictures is developing a sequel to A Quiet Place.
The news was announced by Paramount Pictures Chairman-CEO Jim Gianopulos at CinemaCon (via Variety).
Addressing attendees of the event, he said: “We’re thrilled to say that we’re already working on the sequel to ‘A Quiet Place‘.”
News of a sequel comes as no real surprise as A Quiet Place has proved to be a success story for the studio, having debuted to critical praise and a $50 million opening weekend at the beginning of the month. To date, the movie has taken $213,299,137 at the worldwide box office.
