Some of the best horror stories come in short packages and never has this been truer than in the case of the wealth of great horror shorts which are currently available on YouTube (FOR FREE!!!). Should you want a quick, five-minute scare just before you hop into bed, then YouTube has got your back with a whole of host of superb videos designed to creep you out.

One channel in particular, which all good horror fans should check out is CryptTV – a YouTube channel dedicated to horror shorts. The channel uploads horror shorts on a regular basis and currently has a huge back catalogue to work through.

Below are a couple of examples of CryptTV’s shorts. The first was produced to coincide with the release of big screen horror, Happy Death Day (2017), while the second is a short called The Birch.

Please note: These shorts are not intended for youngsters.
